On the Precision of Search Engines: Results from a Controlled Experiment

In this talk, we present the results of a controlled experiment with 77 participants on the topic of search engine precision. Both conventional and semantic search engines are investigated and compared (i.e., Google, AltaVista, MetaGer, Hakia, Kngine, and WolframAlpha).
