This work describes a Bluetooth framework dedicated to connecting Bluetooth sensors to a smart phone running on Android 4.1 (API Level 16). To validate the framework as well as the connection to the sensors, a fitness application called XFitXtreme has been implemented. The application continiously collects sensor data and graphically illustrates the collected data after a workout.
