Elena studied Software Engineering at the University of Ulm and successfully completed her Master's degree in early 2023. In her master's thesis, she developed a microservice to check the accessibility of websites for e-recruiting. Since March 2025, she has been a PhD student at the Institute for DBIS with a focus on Industry 4.0.
As an external PhD student in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute, she focuses on the development of AI-supported methods for data integration and semantic search to improve data utilization in Industry 4.0. Her goal is to create a dynamic and self-learning knowledge base that recognizes alternative formulations and contextual meanings.
In her spare time, she enjoys programming and dancing.
