OWL BGP is a SPARQL wrapper for OWL reasoners that are based on the OWL API. It is internally based on Apache Jena-ARQ. The wrapper has special support for the HermiT reasoner since it uses statistics provided by HermiT for query planning.

OWL BGP is a free and open source tool developed by Birte Glimm from the University of Ulm and her (external) PhD student Ilianna Kollia from the National Technical University of Athens. It is based on Java and is available under the LGPL 3.0 license.
