Institute of Artificial Intelligence
James-Franck-Ring
With appointment.
In 2018 I started with my PhD at the University of Ulm at the Institute of Artificial Intelligence. Before that, I obtained both the diploma and the master's degree in computer science from the University of Ulm. After that, I studied mathematics and graduated in 2014. In 2015, I founded my company StaudSoft where I distribute software.
My research is about planning algorithms and their use in simulations. I am also interested in the development of computer games and 3D graphics. The main focus there is the development of a 3D modeler and a 3D game engine. I use these two projects in my doctoral studies.
In addition to planning algorithms, I am also interested in deep learning, numerical mathematics, compiler construction and rule-based programming.
