Ulm University not only offers an excellent education, but also an inspiring environment for students. As part of the innovative science city, we provide deep insights into research and pioneering developments. The campus university, where everything can be found under one roof, guarantees short distances between lectures, library and leisure facilities. We attach particular importance to a personal relationship between students and lecturers, which creates a supportive learning environment.  With additional programmes such as university sports, we offer an all-round experience for students, who can look forward not only to an excellent education, but also to an enriching time studying.

Ulm is an economically strong and lively city that offers a high quality of life. The above-average range of leisure and cultural opportunities, the picturesque location on the Danube and the science city with Ulm University at its centre offer a liveable environment in a highly dynamic research and development centre of the state.

For Teachers and Pupils

The WissenSchaffer (KnowledgeCreators) come directly to the schools and inspire pupils from year 10 to upper secondary school to study computer science, electrical engineering and biomedical engineering.

We offer exciting programmes for pupils, from computer science workshops to the Lego Mindstorms Mission Mars.

On the annual Girls' Day und Boys' Day, the department offers interesting insights into computer science.

We take part in interdisciplinary work placements in the STEM subjects (maths, IT, science and technology). In a BOGY internship, the activities range from attending lectures to gaining insights into research and carrying out your own project tasks. A contribution from the Central Student Advisory Service also addresses questions about studying at university, application and admission.

Interested students can apply by e-mail with a covering letter, CV and a copy of their most recent school report to susan.czogalla(at)uni-ulm.de.
