1. Login to the CoronaNG course registration system:
Use this direct link to the CoronaNG course registration system or open the portal.uni-ulm.de and log in with your kiz account. Select "Kursanmeldesystem Corona" in the menu on the right, then the “Corona aufrufen” button on the left.
2. Selection of courses:
- Select "Veranstaltungen" from the menu on the left. If you get the message that the event tree is not yet fully constructed, simply click on "Veranstaltungen" on the left again.
- Click on "Veranstaltungsverzeichnis" in the middle area to open the tree
- Click on the desired offer, e.g. "Zentrum für Sprachen und Philologie" to open the sub-areas,
- then the desired language area, e.g. "Deutsch als Fremdsprache (DaF)",
- then the desired module (including LFS number), e.g. "ZSP 500-006: Wortschatz & Grammatik (GER A2) (Seminar)".
- Below you will find the module again without the number, e.g. "Wortschatz & Grammatik (GER A2) (Seminar)" and, with a dark grey background
- Below that, the various courses with the respective lecturer and course day/time are highlighted in light grey, e.g. "Wortschatz & Grammatik (GER A2) Regina Dengel, Di 16.00 - 17.30 Uhr, N24/155" and behind them the number of places taken/total places.
- To the left of each you will find a box in which you can place a checkmark by clicking on it.
- Once you have selected one or more events, you can select an action in the middle under the event tree, e.g. "Markierte beobachten" (set to watch list; also possible before registration period) or "An markierten teilnehmen" (register directly; only possible during registration period) and click "Ausführen" (execute) to the right of it to execute the chosen action.
3. Observations & Participations
At the top left of the menu in “Observations & Participations” you will find an overview of all the courses for which you have registered or which you are observing. This overview offers you the following options:
You can deregister from courses here yourself within the registration period (otherwise by email to the Language Centre for language courses and to the Humboldt-Centre for all others).
3. Observations & Participations
At the top left of the menu in “Observations & Participations” you will find an overview of all the courses for which you have registered or which you are observing. This overview offers you the following options:
- You can deregister from courses here yourself within the registration period (otherwise by email to the Language Centre for language courses and to the Humboldt-Centre for all others).
- Here you can see for all observed events how many other interested parties are observing them (B), how many have already registered (T) and the maximum number of places available in the event (M) and can thus assess your chances of getting a place in the course better.
- The Status column (p.) uses the symbol to show you whether enrollment is possible or whether you already have a place.
- You can use the Sorting column (p.) to organize your watchlist for yourself (e.g. by preference).
4. Worth knowing
- In the area of foreign languages, the number of courses per semester is not limited, but you can only register for one course within a module (i.e. you cannot attend two Spanish I courses with the same content at the same time). At your first registration attempt, you should register for the course that fits youre timetable best (or sort this accordingly in the watch list if you want to register for all of them with just one click).
- In the other areas, you can register for a maximum of 3 events per semester (if there are still places available at the end of the registration period and you would like to attend more than 3 courses, you can contact the Humboldt-Centre secretariat by telephone)
- If you put all of your desired courses on the watch list before the registration period begins, you can register for all of them with just one click at the beginning of the registration period and thus have the best chance of getting a place in the desired course.
- If you initially did not receive a place in the desired course, other participants may deregister from the course during the registration period. In this case, you can see in your watch list that there are places available again and then register.
- Please be fair and cancel as quickly as possible from events that you cannot attend so that your fellow students can use the place. You can de-register at any time during the registration period in CoronaNG, and at any time afterwards by email (for language courses in the Language Centre , for all others in the Humboldt-Centre).
- If you cannot come to the first event but want to take part in the course, you must notify the office (for language courses in the Language Centre , for all others in the Humboldt-Centre), otherwise you will lose your place in the course.
- A second registration takes place on Friday/Saturday of the second week of lectures, in which you can register for vacant course places via CoronaNG. If you want to deregister afterwards or register if there are free course places, please contact the respective office (for language courses in the Language Centre , for all others in the Humboldt-Centre).
- Employees of Ulm University who have a kiz account can register like students, but must transfer the fee below when they receive a place.
- External participants for language courses should contact the language centre by email. We will then inform you by email at the end of the enrollment week if you have received a place on the course.
- Only university members and their relatives can take part in the courses in the area of German as a foreign language, not external participants.
- According to the fee and remuneration regulations for the Department dated 4 August 2014, the fee is
- for a course in the field of German as a foreign language per course in the summer semester 35 € / in the winter semester 40 € (university members only),
- for all other language courses per course in the summer semester 70 € / in the winter semester 80 € (external participants and employees)
