General conditions, funding period 2025/27

For an initial application (3.2), please submit the following documents:

• Application form - Baustein 3.2
• PhD/doctoral certificate (copy)
• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• List of publications (max. 10)
• List of third-party funds
• if applicable: ​​letter of confirmation of the institution director regarding the financing of the doctoral position following the Baustein funding (at least for one further year)
• if applicable: ethics vote or proof of submission of the ethics application
• if applicable: approval of the animal experiment application or proof of submission of the animal experiment application

For an application for renewal (3.2V), please submit the following documents:

• Application form - Baustein 3.2V
• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• List of publications (max. 10)
• List of third-party funds
• Project outline for an application for external third-party funding as follow-up financing (the applicant has to submit the confirmation of the external third-party funding provider that the external third-party funding application has been submitted, no later than the official start of the Baustein funding period). If your application for third-party funding has already been approved, please enclose both the application and the letter of approval.
• if applicable: ethics vote or proof of submission of the ethics application
• if applicable: approval of the animal experiment application or proof of submission of the animal experiment application

For an application in the Clinician Scientist Module (3.2CS), please submit the following documents:

• Application form - Baustein 3.2CS
• PhD/doctoral certificate (copy)
• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• List of publications (max. 10)
• List of third-party funds
• Proof for an application for external third-party funding or a first author publication (with reference to the CSP project). In both cases, both the third-party funding application and the manuscript must be enclosed.
• if applicable: ​​letter of confirmation of the institution director regarding the financing of the doctoral position following the Baustein funding (at least for one further year)
• if applicable: ethics vote or proof of submission of the ethics application
• if applicable: approval of the animal experiment application or proof of submission of the animal experiment application
