Delivery service for urgent orders of articles and books that need to be obtained more quickly than through interlibrary loan. There is a charge for this service.
Performance features
Order via web form. Processing from the kiz's own stock or via the direct ordering service subito (mainly via the Library Service of subito) or, in special cases, via other interlibrary loan partners if the item is requested in paper form. Copies can be delivered within one or a maximum of three working days (excluding any postage from the kiz to the customer). We obtain PDF files via the supplier fizAutoDoc.
User groups
Members of the university and the hospital as well as private individuals who have an account in the library system (either part of the kiz account or the kiz service card). Commercial customers are excluded.

24 x 7 x 365 (orders)
Mon - Fri 09:00 - 16:00 and Sat 10:00 - 13:00 (order processing; on Saturdays only during the lecture period)
Application modalities
Holders of a kiz account (as well as an activated library account) can use the express delivery service without a separate application. Users who are also entitled to use the service must apply for a chargeable kiz service card, which can be obtained from the Library Head Office at the Lending Service Point or from the Helmholtzstraße Library.
Fee / Charge
For the use of the service, fees or charges are calculated on the basis of the applicable schedule of fees and charges.
