The academic reporting is responsible for various tasks in the realms of data analysis and controlling at Ulm University. We develop key figures and report formats as tools of advice and support for the university management as well as the faculties. We also participate in projects. A well-functioning reporting system always makes the needs of the report addressees the focus of its work. At the same time, it is important to reduce the complexity of the data in order to generate clear and unambiguous results. The balancing act between costs and benefit is always a challenge in reporting. We therefore strive to produce standardised reports where possible and compile special reports only in special situations.
