Congratulations to Dr. Dr. Dorothée Lulé who received the Mattiacum award 2011 for her work on Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a progressive motor neuron disease, that affects movement and communication abilities and emotional processing. The prize is awarded by the German Society of Neurology.

Dr. Dr. Lulé has been student of the International PhD Programme in Molecular Medicine Ulm from 2005 – 2009. She graduated in January 2009 on „Evidence for extra-motor involvement in Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS)“.
